Here's a list of albums that really caught my attention this year.

Bored of your standard top ten lists? Here is my impression of most year ending "top" lists; Read the following sentence as though you are Ben Stein after imbibing a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon, a bottle of the finest of Robotussin and handful of quaaludes. "Here are ten records I really enjoyed this year and some background info on the artists. How does this record stand up to their last. Do I think their next can stand up to this one. They are clearly reinventing the genre." While I think hanging out with Ben Stein on a bender might make for a good reality show (note to self: pitch idea to E!, make millions) it doesn't exactly make for an interesting read. C'mon! A lot of us have been making these lists to round out the year for almost ten years now. Spice it up people! So here I'm going to rock the boat like the snarky little so and so I've become. I give you, my top ten most played songs that were released this year.
